It isn't just walkers in the mountains who get poor instructions. Several 
tourist guides say that it is a fifteen minute drive from my place at 
Wentworth Falls to McMahon's Lookout at the end of Tableland Road. 30k, 
20k of which is a dirt road! I might have been able to get near the 
120km/h average speed required back when I was rallying but it would be a 
bit of a stretch today.
