The free "BarCamp Canberra 2010" around the topic of e-Government and
Web 2.0, will be held Saturday, 6 February 2010 from 9:00 am in the
famous Room N101 of the School of Computer Science, Australian National
University: <http://bcc2010.eventbrite.com/>.

The Bar Camp format can be a little confusing for those who are not
members of the Twitterati. Topics and speakers are chosen on the day and
any attendee can offer to speak. I attended Bar Camp Canberra 2 last
year and found it a bit confusing for the fist hour, but then got the
hang of it and gave a talk:

This year I have volunteered to speak on:

---
e-Books for e-Learning for E-Government

Tom Worthington shows how he uses simple web pages and free open source
software to create a university level e-learning courses to support
e-government. Courses are created with free open source Australian
software and then used to generate content for Amazon Kindle, Google
Android, Apple iPhone, iPad and Netbooks <http://www.tomw.net.au/green/>.
