No more likely than the iPhone, and possibly less likely given the custom A4 chip.
iPhone OS 4.0 will most likely offer multi-tasking.

Ridiculously unreliable on Mac OS: there are interesting discussions on the political and technical reasons for excluding Flash on the web: most revolve around Apple not being happy for Adobe to have control.
