Just like stereotyping gender as voting in one way, it's equally
unfair for politicians (or us) to lump people of a particular belief
system into voting a particular way. I'm not convinced, except for
the most marginal and extreme in the religious right, that pandering
does any good. It's quite insulting, really. It's the same as Conroy
labelling those against the filter as paedophiles or child abusers.
None of it is helpful.

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
