My Lenovo netbook takes a colossal 60 seconds to boot into XP (although I
could cut that down if I removed some of Lenovo's software such as the
face-recognition thing that's supposed to replace the need for a
password), but the real problem is that it can take 15 seconds for it to
connect to the wireless network and more than 10 seconds for it to load MS
Word 2007.
It's just as well I'm patient.
