Linkers can hardly benefit from this kind of communication: the illogicality of the statement above is risible.

It's useful/entertaining/informative to discuss and debate the issues surrounding online newspapers, but ad hominem abuse only contributes to the counter-effect of making the author look foolish, or at best, unhinged.
