I note that a Java applet needs to be run for this fingerprinting
scheme to work.

How toc circumvent this technique? Create a browser option or plug-in
that randomises some of the metrics as used by the fingerprint, e.g.

  ! Browser Plugin Details
  ! Screen Size and Color Depth
  ! System Fonts
  * Time Zone
  * Cookies Enabled


! = quite feasible by adding random details to the metric
* = perhaps but may affect browser functions
