A bill of rights for Facebook users
by Mark Sullivan, PC World
http://www.macworld.com/article/151417/2010/05/facebook_billofrights.html

[The opening text of this article is a bit daft, but the interesting
aspect is the list of items the author comes up with as a 'bill of
rights':

1. Let me know what I'm getting into (or out of)
2. Tell me what I'm broadcasting to the world
3. Let me opt in to sharing my data; don't make me opt out of it
4. Make privacy settings simple
5. Give me more control over photos
6. Tell me what data I'm sharing with apps
7. What happens in Facebook should stay in Facebook
8. Don't surprise me
9. Accept responsibility when things go wrong
10. Give me the right to quit and leave nothing behind
