Or even better, add:

127.0.0.1  www.google-analytics.com
127.0.0.1  ssl.google-analytics.com

to your HOSTFILE -- no need for noscript or firefox even though those things 
are great, but most of all, no need for dodgy Google plugins. works cross 
browser too, as your killing the request at DNS

mvps.org has a pretty good hostfile FAQ and pre-config downloads goin on:

Simple and easy. Just download and run batch file
