Hi,
Roger was on 702 this morning covering the perils of Facebook and the new "stalking" feature,
lack of privacy and so on.

I just tried to find a transcript but there isn't one......

I agree with everything he said and I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole either.....

There are a lot of people here at work who indulge in these social networking things.
I honestly do not understand the fascination with it, in trying to get as many "friends" as possible
or pasting chunks of your private life up online with very little operational way to prevent
unwanted browsing of your stuff, without going to a bit of effort.

I have never quite got my head around social networking sites, the only one I am subscribed
to is "Linked In" which according to Ex-Sun maven and Java deity James Gosling, is actually "alright",
while he also sensibly regards the Facebook guys as "creepy"..... ....(same term he uses for Larry Ellison
of Oracle)....

So, while I can't post a transcript of Roger's interview this morning, I can post Jame's podcast transcript,
which I think is excellent for all sorts of reasons, so here goes.....
