[LINK] Benefits of a digital society enabled by the NBN

All of us use the expression "digital economy" without a second glance.

We challenge the coalition's focus on business to the exclusion of 
anything else, but we lost the battle the minute we let them frame it as 
"the digital economy".

I'm not the only person who thinks that the social benefits of the 
Internet outweigh the commercial benefits. I suggest we re-frame and 
re-name it.
