http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/right
-------
Sometimes, rights. <http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rights> the
interest or ownership a person, group, or business has in property: He has a
50-percent rightin a silver mine. The author controls the screen rights for
the book.
-------
If a piece of binary code is in my machine in the privacy of my home I can
do whatever I please with it, -legalese and lawyers nothwithstanding- patch
it, examine it, reverse engineer it, etc. If it´s in the cloud, I lose my
ability to do so.
Don´t like the word "rights", well, use "freedom".
