Yes, I confess to handcrafting my HTML and CSS...I suspect 
pulling webpages out of databases and generating HTML also 
takes time. Not to mention image sizes - it is amazing how 
good GIMPs JPG compression is. Perhaps a well tuned Apache 
server also helps....
