As a single-person household, it was a breeze. The eCensus number is a 
bit long, but there's little that could be done about that. Using 
letters as well as numbers might allow for a shorter identifier. 
Splitting the identifier into shorter blocks might reduce errors.

I needed to consult records for an answer only to one question: income.
