Ah, but they're showing that they're *hip* (or whatever the 10s 
equivalent is of that 50s? 60s? 70s? word ...).

Semi-seriously, 'you have to give the public what they want', and if 
your target-audience been brought up on a diet of grainy, jerky 
YouTube videos, that's obviously what they want.
