Alas, the Nuremberg Trials did not succeed in putting an end to genocide, or in ending wars of aggression - and although the legitimacy of the trials and the verdicts still cause concern to some legal scholars and others, it did manage to document the atrocities that were committed by 'ordinary men', and to deny martyrdom to those accused.

What has transpired in Egypt recently in relation to Vodafone's actions is surely not on the same scale as events in Cambodia, Yugoslavia, Rwanda and Ethiopia?

ps. It's either Nürnberg (German), or Nuremberg (English), but not Nüremberg.
