Holly Raiche, Executive Director, Internet Society of Australia
(ISOC-AU) has pointed out that there are TWO parliamentary inquiries
into the National Broadband Network (NBN), with submissions closing this
week:
1. House of Representatives Standing Committee on Infrastructure and
Communications, on the role and potential of the NBN, with submissions
due 25 February: <http://www.aph.gov.au/house/committee/ic/NBN/>
2. Senate Standing Committee on Environment and Communications, inquiry
into NBN bills, with submissions due 24 February 2011::
ISOC-AU is preparing a submission to the Senate committee:
The ACS is preparing a submission to the House of Representatives
committee: <http://www.acs.org.au/enewsletter/ceo/index.htm#policy>.
A draft of my submission to the House of Representatives committee is
at:

Apologies for any confusion I may have caused by not realising there
were two inquiries.
