whilst on the topic of browsers/search behaviour and concerns for 
privacy ... I have been using duckduckgo.com as my search engine for the 
past couple of months.  It seems to be as efficient as google in 
returning useful results and it tells me it is not tracking my every move.

Perhaps changing from google.com.au might also enhance your comfort 
level. See https://duckduckgo.com/goodies.html for information about 
this service.

I'd welcome other more informed folks views on this too.
