Oh yes, I support your views.
Sadly the "usability mob" has ruled that dialog boxes are a menace to
mankind, and that God The User shouldn´t be bothered by annoying
dialog boxes, or too many buttons for that matter. Hence, we get
crippled user interfaces like in Google´s Chrome. :)
This is to say... I´m not very happy with the "dumbing down" trends I
see in software development. :-/
