Interestingly, given the recent exposure of the banks on-selling
credit information (if you haven't found this one yet, hold onto your
hats!), I did a search on the word 'privacy' on that website. Only
two references were returned.

The first was to Chancery systems that talks about role based access to data.
The second is to Envoy, which says it has a similar control mechanism.

The reason I did this search was to see if there was ANY inkling in
SIF that there are reasons for data stove-pipes, that
interoperability is not a magic pill without a downside, and that
people who build these capabilities should think outside their own
part of the universe to build in PETs: privacy enhancing
technologies. This group seemingly has not, if the results of this
search is anything to go by.

Evan, if you have any contacts in this group, perhaps you can raise
this oversight and get privacy protections of students, teachers, and
parents on the table.

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
