link too.  I thought everyone who should know would know and I was
catching up.

After reading it appeared to me that apart from the odd errant backhoe
attack the in-ground fibre network can be expected to run for very long
(ie, unpredictably long) time.  Over this time the terminal equipment
will likely go through multiple upgrades.   This puts one of the more
frivolous anti-NBN talking points to bed.
