Yes it is firefox and icedove is the thunderbird (mail 
client) equivalent. It is only logo/brand that is different, 
everything else is mozilla - when I used a Knoppix 
distribution it was iceweasel/icedove while Ubuntu uses 
Firefox/thunderbird. I seem to recall something about the 
registered trademark being a problem for purists.
