[LINK] India: NATGRID to show its first result in 18 months

> NEW DELHI: The National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), which was approved by the government on Monday, will start showing results in about 18 months. The system is meant for real-time information sharing in electronic form among various law enforcement agencies.

> The clearance, which came from the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), is meant for the first two phases of this ambitious project which comprise setting up the required infrastructure -- hardware, software and exclusive server for the system -- and hiring manpower.
