At first glance the digital edition seems to be flash only - no iphone/ipad
edition, no android edition. Odd way of doing things. I'm curious what
ideological flavour it is, and its a bit hard to tell without being able to
read the thing - this weekend my android phone is all I've got.

"If, like me, you have a need to sound deep with actually being so, then
The Week is your perfect read." Andrew Denton, Broadcaster.

The Week is Australia's fastest growing news magazine - its unique format
is changing the way busy Australians stay informed.

In just one hour, you'll find out what's happened across the world in the
last 7 days and what the world's news media are saying about it.

The Week was founded 15 years ago by British journalist Jolyon Connell.

Its first editorial office was a London garage, and Connell mortgaged his
house to fund the early years of the magazine. Dennis Publishing acquired
The Week when it had just 2,000 subscriptions. Today the UK edition sells
more than 150,000 copies and the US edition tops 500,000.

Now The Week has arrived in Australia.

It's the perfect way for information hungry Australians to stay on top of
the most important news from Australia and the world.

The Week is unlike any other magazine in Australia.

Our writers scour the world's leading news media for the most influential
stories, and distill them into 35 succinct pages. Reading The Week keeps
you informed, not to mention entertained. The Week also covers the
lighter side - everything from gossip and sport to food, travel and the
arts ..

Stephen
