Oh goodie. That means the war on terror is over.
We can pull all those troops out...
Nullify the Patriot Act.
Cancel Airport rudie nudie scanning.
And unwind all those "Extra Police Powers" ammendments to our
legislation.

Oh, you said "good luck with that" huh ....
It strikes me that if we spent just one tenth of our military budgets on
industry assistance projects our unemployment would drop dramatically.
The concept of war to balance the budget only works when the blind
patriotism of the masses creates a wave of mass unswerving gullibility.
Recent events in the middle east would tend to suggest that the sheep no
longer wish to be shorn as often.
In today's ubiquitously [1] connected Internet world, the proletariat no
longer believe that we need to kill people to have oil in our cars.
Peace is possible, as long as we haven't actually run out of oil...
