Do you have some knowledge/evidence to support this statement? I'm
confident that they asked him very nicely on several occasions to drop
on in to a New York Police station for questioning in relation to his
alleged involvement in the death of thousands of people.

I'm even more confident that the soldiers who knocked on his door
yesterday asked him politely to accompany them without incident and that
he declined while hiding behind his wife with a gun.
