You've never heard of 'conspiracy' obviously. It's where multiple
parties get together to commit crimes.
He ran and funded AQ ... he was the CEO if you like ... and AQ has
numerous atrocities to its credit. But of course, given your respect
for the legalities, everyone knows that a CEO isn't responsible or
accountable for anything.
He accepted responsibility for NY, Kenya and the other civilian
bombing atrocities of the late 90's and early Noughties ... on
multiple occasions. (I have no problem with declaring war and going
after military targets ... those roadside bombs for example are
pretty damn effective ... but draw the line at the killing of
civilians.)
He applauded the indiscriminate bombing efforts of the numerous AQ
sister organisations during the Noughties - in Bali, Spain and a host
of other locations.
By his own admission he's as guilty as hell ... but I'm guessing
that's not enough to satisfy the Holburn Burden of Proof.
Yup ... he should have been allowed to kill thousands more civilians
with gay abandon and then peacefully turn himself in at one of the
local police stations for his day in court. That seems to me to be
the most reasonable response to OBL ... I mean going out after him
with a small self contained team purposely designed to limit
collateral damage was a huge over-reaction. What were the Americans
thinking?
Regards,
