I fell for one the other day that was about photos from a friend on a
website I didn't recognise. When I went there, you had to sign up (I
didn't). It was then I noticed the WOT (Web of Trust) circle was
warning this site was a problem. Since then, I've received quite a
few more messages with malware, which is a nuisance. Fortunately, my
antivirus finds them and lets me know. But then I have to continually
tell the AV program to discard the thing. Fortunately, I use an old
email program that pretty much does text only in its display unless I
tell it otherwise, so none of those funny script things work, and I
don't think they can grab my address book.
I got a phishing mail today saying I had a personal Tweet. Since I
don't use Twitter, that was obviously a bad one.
I was tempted for a time to collect some of the more clever phishing
emails, sort of like collecting twine or bellybutton lint, but
decided like those weird hobbies, it wasn't worth the time to do so.

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
