I've always felt that the really valuable information is in
Gmail and Hotmail...maybe that is why MS bought Skype to
keep it out of Google's hands.

My concern has always been the possibility of loosing all
your information...though maybe once its blogged, it isn't
yours anymore...

Interestingly, for the Library Hack, the data sets I looked
at were released under CC 3.0 eg
