I prefer Roy Schestowitz´ (techrights.org, Twitter: @schestowitz) term, he
coined "Fog Computing".
Or like I say "the fine art of separating people from their software".
Google made a great example by its unilateral changing of the GMail user
interface. I choose to keep the old look but it´s evident it´s "temporary",
which means we all be "upgraded" to the "new look" wether we want it or not.
Or as someone else said on my Twitter TL "shame on the FOSS movement for
not providing a GMail alternative that anybody can run on any server".
