[LINK] Northern Hemisphere switch to Winter Time?

There's a lot of countries in the Northern Hemisphere you know...

Parts of Europe changed this weekend.  The US and Canada don't change until
next Sunday.

The switchovers were roughly synchronized until a few years ago when most
countries extended daylight savings - in the US we now have it for almost
2/3rds of the year...
