[LINK] Broadband and Train to Replace Second Sydney Airport

The NSW Premier, Barry O'Farrell, has proposed to use a high speed rail 
line from Sydney to Canberra in place of a second Sydney airport:

Broadband access on the train would also make this form of travel more 
attractive and something much harder for an aircraft to provide. 
Broadband could also be used to make new and expanded settlements at 
stations along the train route attractive. This would allow new towns to 
offer jobs, education, health and education to capit city standards very 
quickly. The resulting improved land value could pay for the cost of the 
train.
