OK, pipes not owned by the Water corp and self interest.

In the USA that would be the content creators, Warner, Universal, NBC,
HBO, Time & Disney, all of whom own telecommunications/cable TV
companies opposing non-content creators like AT&T and other smaller
Bells and ISP's.

One of the few places they don't own the delivery medium are countries
like Sweden, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.

Probably one of the major reasons they elected to fight the piracy meme
in those countries rather than on their own home ground.

There, I believe we have managed to get this thread back on track. (But
I was enjoying the batcrap version... It somehow seemed fitting...
Flying vampires leaching off elements off humanity whilst bombarding
them with mostly crap.. A most, appropriate metaphor, if I have to say
so myself... )
