This last comment (Sharon E. Cathcart) was interesting too:

Dale either. I'm angry at Amazon and B&N for not honoring what I 
agreed to on *their* end."
Seems this author didn't agree to have her books loaned, and had 
opted out of the process. Seems there is more to this story than 
originally thought.
