I often find the comments more enlightening than just the articles
because you can get a brain-trust thing happening to extend the
analysis. That's what I found about this article and also a follow up
on Forbes.

That is worth reading to get a different sense of the meaning. I
didn't watch the video because if the person isn't good at delivery,
the meaning can get lost. I find what he has put out there to be
reasonably sound on the face of it, particularly the point about
businesses *resisting* hiring as much as possible, which makes
logical sense from a business perspective when dealing with potential
on-going costs/overhead/productivity measures (Australia's euphemism for it).
I can't wait for the TED talk about the fall of Facebook (dotcom bust take 2).
