"In five years China's CO2 emissions have doubled. Even if the USA
reduced CO2 emissions to zero, China's output today is greater than the
USA's emissions in 2005. The Copenhagen summit in 2009 ended any hope of
a binding global agreement on CO2 abatement that emerging economies would
agree to. McIntyre said he thought the reason: "Nobody knows what to do."


Occurs to me the 'emerging economy' of China knows exactly what its doing.

While the US smokes 24% of the world's oil straight out heating & vehicle 
exhaust pipes, China's looking centuries ahead with it's 10% and Au steel

China is building **many** rail connected, everything-proof, mega-cities.

With care, a 1000 year lifespan. Seems a smart move indeed, if you ask me.
