Especially by the time we're dead ourselves.  It could end up with a
thriving online community of "virtualised" people held in some new weird
kind of limbo by a interminable automated stream of recommendations and
offers.  The Unread.

I could never get the whole life-after-death thing but it's starting to
look not just possible but unavoidable...
