I expect that many Linkers have an IT background and may nod their heads wisely, but this claim is up there with the worst of the anti-piracy crowd.

Computer Science (especially what might be taught in primary and secondary schools) is of some importance to the future careers of some pupils.

We have some bigger problems in our society that need solving.
