Repeating an older post: you can automate the removal of all things Facebookish that
you perhaps should not have done:

Interestingly, the suicide machine has received a cease and desist order
from Facebook, requesting they shut down operations and vanish from the
face (no pun) of the planet.

which is a riotously entertaining read, breathless in its hypocrisy. Of course
the suicide machine is ignoring it.
I think it would behoove all of us to document the process of anonymising oneself
to the level one would expect when, say, walking down the street. There is no reason
that one's identity should be broadcast loud and clear in cyberspace when such
behaviour in meatspace would be completely unacceptable.
