Sometimes one despairs regarding the future of America, and our world.

Newt Gingrich, the more right wing of the two main candidates for the
current Republican Party (and yes they're the party whom deny climate
change, strongly support the US ultra-rich, *proposed SOPA*, and have
desperately denied their black President any political wins for years)
clearly claims he absolutely & strongly supports copyright protection.

His theme song, Eye of the Tiger, is played extensively at his rallies.

And he is being sued for not having copyright permission to utilize it.

Gasp! The future leader of the free world? The moral light on the hill?

It's either laugh or cry.

"Gingrich sued over Eye Of The Tiger" www.abc.net.au Jan 31st, 2012

"United States US Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich faces
a lawsuit over his use of Eye Of The Tiger ... The complaint states the
violation it alleges is intentional, since Mr Gingrich is "sophisticated
and knowledgeable" concerning copyright laws .. Rude Music has requested
the court order an end to unauthorised use of the song by the defendants
and to award Rude Music Inc damages. A Gingrich campaign spokesman could
not immediately be reached for comment."

Cheers,
Stephen
