Isn't that the regular Internet story.  Individuals empowered; rentseekers,
middlemen, contact list owners and gatekeepers get circumnavigated.

Defection has always been a big issue for businesses whose value add
approximates the charisma of their sales people. The Internet reduces the
process friction.
