And given the flakey manager deals that have been exposed in recent 
times, it's not any wonder.

BTW, I picked up a book by Cory Doctorow yesterday called Makers. 
Anyone read it? Just started it, but I think it's going to be good. 
It has a theme of what happens when the dinosaur businesses have to 
be retooled. The premise is that a capitalist buys Kodak and Duracell 
and combines them into a new venture helping start-ups as a network 
of businesses. I thought it ironic, or prescient, given the recent 
bankruptcy of Kodak. The book came out in 2009.
