And given the flakey manager deals that have been exposed in recent
times, it's not any wonder.
BTW, I picked up a book by Cory Doctorow yesterday called Makers.
Anyone read it? Just started it, but I think it's going to be good.
It has a theme of what happens when the dinosaur businesses have to
be retooled. The premise is that a capitalist buys Kodak and Duracell
and combines them into a new venture helping start-ups as a network
of businesses. I thought it ironic, or prescient, given the recent
bankruptcy of Kodak. The book came out in 2009.

Our truest response to the irrationality of the world is to paint or
sing or write, for only in such response do we find truth.
