This is just the first 3 years, to 2015. NBN Co will be updating the 3-year rollout on
a rolling quarterly cycle, and will add more areas to the pipeline as areas that are
pink (1 year to start) and orange (under construction now) move through to completion.
When an area moves to '1 year to start' they should be putting detailed
street-by-street design maps onto the web-site.

No area will have their copper shut off until roughly 18 months after the optical
fibre NBN is completed in that area. An area is expected to take roughly 1 year from
when construction starts to the area being deemed complete and ready-for-service, so
you have about 2 to 2.5 years of copper after you first see the trucks rolling down
the street, or start getting NBN Co postcards in your letter-box.

Areas that don't get the fibre NBN at all - the wireless and satellite footprints -
will keep their copper lines to support telephone services until....well, until
someone comes up with a better plan.
