Thanks Stephen,

Anecdotally, some plastic fuel tanks react badly to even small amounts 
of ethanol. The risk is of a _really_ hot time in the old town.

This is old-time neighbours-over-the back-fence stuff. I hadn't seen or 
heard anything from other sources, so discounted it. Evidently, I need 
to reconsider.
