There are no barcodes evident to the unaided eye on Airlink photos, 
making this a form of Steganography:

It is not clear how useful this will be, as the whole idea of 
steganography is to hide information, in this case a web address, in a 
photo. In the examples I have seen in the newspaper, each photo is 
accompanied by a block of text with something like "Airlink for more 
information scan the photo of the front of the house. For more details 
see page 3.". If each photo with a hidden code has to be marked this 
way, they might as well use a visible code, which would take up less 
space than the explanatory text.
