So, what you're saying is that since there are no Nano-SIMs available for the iPhone 5 outside those made available in iPhones sold in Plan bundles by Optus and Telstra there is no point buying an iPhone 5 (since a mobile demonstrably won't work without a SIM) from Apple at the moment unless you intend to enage in one of the plans offered by Telstra or Optus?

 So, buying an unlocked iPhone 5 online from Apple today is effectively an exercise in futility.

Thanks for clearing that up ... I'm now off to check out Samsung and HTC alternatives.
