Naturally .. and I suspect, CAD/CAM packages with 'automated' distributed 
processesing 'under the hood' will become normal. Whether sharing is with
one large supercomputer, or, now that as Rachel notes a smartphone ARM is
quicker than an original CRAY1, so as Tom suggests a SETI-like smartphone
network, will be immaterial. I'd happily rent-out my 99.999% unused phone 
processing power, the same as occasionally processing SETI data for free.
