I predict that the information reported will be pretty granular. ie
electricity bills.

There is little or no incentive for efficiency - energy or otherwise.

Pricing electricity will be insufficient. We also need specific standards
as has evolved for building construction.

For data centres, the scope includes lighting, ventilation/cooling,
building design as well as the heat generation and energy efficiency
of the computer systems.

My two pet topics are Lighting and sufficient memory in computer
systems, to optimise the source of Heat, requiring cooling and
energy consumption to be fit for purpose.
