Australian Ethical Investment (AEI) donates 10% of pre-tax profits to
good causes. As a shareholder, each year I get an email with a link to
allow me to vote for the projects to receive grants.
That makes me feel good, but when I placed my cursor over the AEI web
address in theit email to vote,a different web address appeared
("http://australianethical.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=02761e9...").
Is it ethical for a company, particularly one with a strong emphasis on
ethics, to track its shareholders in this way?
