Optus prepaid wireless data is $130 for 17.5Gb if paid online. The latency
with it for Optus Melbourne is usually 120ms with 5 Mbps down & 1.5Mbps up

We need to be wireless, here in country Vic. Wireless for everything. Our
fixed underground phone line was laid 40 years ago. It can't even provide
a reliable POTS phone line, (too much static), let alone any ADSL flavour.

Several times Telstra sent out service crews. They taped another plastic
bottle (a coke bottle the last time) around all of the joins in the coms
pit, again with no differences. We've had to abandon fixed line services.
There will never be optics for this small country town. Roll on wireless.

Cheers,
Stephen
